For millions, it's normal. But for this little village in Perez Quezon, running water is a rarity.
During the summer time, most of the people in the village of of Sanghirin have to travel one mile away for running water. Unfortunately, the well began to deplete.
As we all know, running water is essential for cleaning food, washing hands, and hydration. So Aspire to Dream sought the knowledge of local engineers and surveyors to build a sustainable water well that is closer and provides running water continually for the entire plot of land. We also provided the tanks to hold water from the well.
The well itself is an artisan well, driven by the natural pressure in the ground and connects to a large underground reservoir and will continue to provide water for this community for years.
